IBIZA, The Dream Island

The queen of the Balearic Islands needs no introduction. However, we’d like to highlight that for us it is simply the hottest destination to visit while yachting around the Mediterranean.

What makes it so special? Is it that it meets absolutely all the conditions for an amazing journey? Or perhaps, the celebration vibes that attract people from all over the world? Or that great sense of freedom and love that emanates wherever you go… Whatever the reason, here nature, nightlife, culture and gastronomy dance together. Inviting all of us to a festival like no other.

Over 50 coves & beaches

For those seeking peace and privacy, there are more than 50 coves. Ideal to get lost in and enjoy the views amidst rocky cliffs and sandy coasts, far away from all. Sailing by the legendary Es Vedra at the west side of the island is an unforgettable experience. Famous for its well-celebrated (and applauded) sunsets, this is a must-see on the list. But, the west is not always the best. To be in total privacy, the north of the island is unrivalled.

World Famous Clubs & Restaurants

Making a stop at a restaurant to taste the Mediterranean flavours is always THE plan. Cala Bassa Beach Club (CBBC). Amante Ibiza. Six Senses. El Chiringuito. Es Boldado. And Hostal La Torre… They are among the finest options along the coast to enjoy both the food and the sea views. For a countryside experience, La Paloma, Aubergine and Juntos stand out for the incredible beauty of the surroundings, offering farm-to-table cuisine and ambience.

Now, if you are looking for some action, the beach clubs offer a great combination of gastronomy, nature and music events. Cotton, Beso Beach, Nikki Beach  are among the best. Wow is also a great choice, located in Santa Gertrudis, the heart of the island. And when it comes to partying, Lío Ibiza, Pacha, Club Chinois, Destino Ibiza, DC10, Amnesia, Ushuaïa, and Hï (in addition to the previously mentioned beach clubs) offer a fully packed calendar of events. Bringing together the most acclaimed DJs of the moment to the booths, you can’t leave Ibiza without a dance (or a few).

UNESCO World Heritage Site

But it’s not all about partying, right? Dalt Vila, Ibiza’s fortified old town next to the port, was declared World Heritage by the UNESCO. The panoramic views, the castle, the cobblestone streets with cosy sidewalk cafes, restaurants and art galleries… It all calls for a walk. You’ll find a few but really interesting museums. Among them: the Necropolis of Puig des Molins (the world’s largest and best-preserved necropolis). The Contemporary Art Museum. The Puget Museum. Casa Broner. And the Museum of Ethnography.

The Necropolis offers a wide collection of the jewellery and ceramics made by the Phoenicians. They were the first citizens to establish on the island, back at the end of the 7th century B.C. Come inside some of the original tombs and see the past and the present merging. On the other hand, if you’re looking for some shopping, you’ll find the most exclusive brands at Marina and Botafoc Ibiza.

More culture, please?

Well, if you’re around in September, you have the chance to enjoy the annual Ibiza Jazz Festival and the Territori festival. And for the little ones, there is a natural aquarium inside a cave in Sant Antoni. Also, there is a Surf Lounge and the Botanical Garden, which presents a musical interactive experience with plants.

Ibiza's little sister

Last but not least: Formentera. The little sister island absolutely deserves a visit. The colour of the sea there is just hypnotic… Enjoy an authentic paella or try the sea food delights at the legendary restaurant Juan y Andrea, located in the famous Illetes beach, or follow the beats to Beso Beach, “no hay verano sin beso”.

Located in the famous Illetes beach, it is the most stunning of all. Or follow the beats to Beso Beach, “no hay verano sin beso”, also within the natural reserve. You’ll discover that, once you’re there, time passes by slowly… Like in a dream.

One Final tip

A final tip for all the plans mentioned above: booking in advance is the only way to get a table during the season. The good news is that we can take care of all details so your only reminder on the schedule is to…
